Easy Breast Augmentation

The purpose of this site is to serve as an educational resource for those considering breast augmentation.  There are many things to consider before undergoing surgery to supplement your natural beauty.  First and foremost, you should understand why you want to do it and what you are trying to accomplish.  The first step in the process is to decide if breast augmentation is for you.

Like every decision in life, this decision should be made while maintaining that delicate balance between risk and reward.  It is human nature to do things that enhance our natural beauty.  Certainly, “vanity” is not a new concept.  Make-up, hairstyles, designer clothing, and jewelry are all examples of lengths people take to go the extra mile to meet society’s current definition of beauty.  It is a fact that appearance has a significant influence on how others perceive you.

Before moving forward, it is also a fact that not everyone is a good candidate for breast augmentation.  Your physician will help you determine whether or not you are a good candidate.  Be aware that your doctor is evaluating both your physical and mental health as both play a role for people considering any cosmetic surgery. We are advocates of keeping everything in balance.  When keeping everything in balance, we want to discuss self-esteem for a moment.  Breast augmentation or any form of cosmetic surgery is not the answer to generating more self-esteem.  Like a drug, cosmetic surgery can become an addiction to those that rely on it for self-esteem.  Many women have said that they “feel more confident” and are “happier with their appearance” after cosmetic surgery.  The key is to understand the difference between being happier with your appearance and serving as the foundation for ones self-confidence. While breast augmentation may supplement personal confidence, like a great hair style or stunning dress, it is not the answer to deep routed self-esteem issues.  We mention this because using breast augmentation as the answer to building self-esteem can lead to destructive behavioral patterns after the breast augmentation.  Therefore, if self-esteem is the issue and only one person can truly answer that question, we recommend counseling, education, physical fitness, personal hobbies and a plethora of activities that build self-esteem through achieving personal goals.  Your cosmetic surgeon should do a consultation to help you determine whether or not you are a “good candidate” for breast augmentation but, at the end of the day, you are in the best position to do a self-assessment so please be honest with yourself.
